Many of the Internet­sites I have viewed screw up the in­for­ma­tion when Guys­tion­ing Gold Record Awards for al­bums. Most use put up-1974 cri­te­ria stan­dards to awards cer­ti­fied from 1958 by 1974. In-house awards didn't disappear following the RIAA in­tro­duced their “of­fi­cial” awards in 1958.
